Balayage and Ombre Hair?

I can't help it but to browse around for this hairstyle that has been around since 2010. Not a single celebrity that can't rock the balayage and ombre hair,  even my favourite youtubers are rocking it too such as Zoe Sugg, Michelle Phan and Claire Marshall. If you don't know what balayage and ombre hair is, it is where you have highlights all over your hair or the blonde bleach/hair dye all over your ends. By doing ombre and adding highlights it'll give more texture and natural flow to your hair. The balayage effect is done by sweeping the bleach/hair dye vertically to the strands of your hair. It'll frame your face even better when you have highlights along your fringe. Here's a few pictures for you to imagine how gorgeous it may look on you! Trust me I've been googling and I just can't stop loving the style.

As it's been days I've been googling, watching tutorials of DIY Ombre Hair. Learning how it is pretty simple to do it at home, don't have to be too precise or professional guidance during the application. The messier it is, the greater effect you'll get. So the heck, I'm doing it! I'm on break, I've chopped off my hair and I find myself already bored with my current hairstyle. So why not? I've always admire with Kylie Jenner's hairstyle, as she has dark hair like me and most Asians. For darker hair it is pretty hard to get it blonde bleached, it's very stubborn. Even hair dye in lighter shades for me takes time for it show.

So I did get on doing the balayage and ombre hair at home, stay tuned for the updated post of the results on my hair! If you follow me on twitter, you would know it turned out.

What's your colour for your ombre hair? Blonde? Caramel Brown? Blue? Pink?
